Support for Those Affected by Sexual Assault & Dating Violence
Success Street partners with outside agencies like Amani, Riverview Center, & Waypoint to offer free & confidential services to those affected by sexual assault, dating violence, and domestic violence. Services are available at school, during the school day for students to access by appointment. Students can meet individually with a staff person in a safe and confidential setting.
Services can be accessed by any Waterloo School or Cedar Falls School student at any time by student request.
Amani
Amani Community Services is a culturally specific domestic violence and sexual assault agency serving African Americans in Black Hawk and Linn Counties. Our staff provides counseling, out reach services, personal advocacy, legal advocacy, children’s programming and information and referrals.
Riverview
Riverview Center offers 100% free and confidential services for survivors of sexual violence in 14 counties in Northeast Iowa, and for survivors of sexual and domestic violence in Jo Daviess and Carroll counties in Illinois. Services include 24-hour crisis hotline, legal, medical, and general advocacy, as well as, peer counseling and therapy. Services are survivor-centered and based on an individual’s unique needs and circumstances.
Waypoint
Over the years, Waypoint's services have evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of individuals, children, and families. Today, Waypoint offers a variety of proactive services and resources for those experiencing domestic violence.
